Program: 28th. February to 03rd March. 2022. Mahashivratri is a one of auspicious Hindu festival celebrated every year throughout the country in reverence to Lord Shiva. It is believed that Lord Shiva, on this day consumed the pot of poison emerging from the Samudra Manthan and saved the Shrishti from massive destruction. Scientifically it is believed that on Mahashivratri night there is a natural upsurge of energies in the human system. Staying awake throughout the night, sitting with a vertical spine posture may lead to lot of benefits. It is also celebrated as an Anniversary of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Chanting of panchakshari mantra "Om Namah Shivaya" in meditation pose is advised for people with many breathing issues.
